Shipping & returns

Standard US shipping is $5.00 for the first coffee and $1.25 for each additional coffee in the same order to one address. Shipping is free when your coffee total is over $50.00 after discounts and before tax. Separate delivery addresses require separate orders. Three $20 coffees ship free.

The demo preview does not collect payment or ship products. At launch, available destinations, shipping charges, and delivery estimates will be shown before payment. Production begins only after payment confirmation and your approval of the final artwork.

Personalized items require review of names, spelling, coffee, and artwork before approval. Damage, incorrect fulfillment, cancellations, and refunds will be handled through the published support channel. The support contact, return window, and final personalized-goods policy must be set before opening sales.

Privacy

The store uses an essential session cookie to keep your bag and artwork approvals together. Shipping details and an email address are saved with your order. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored in this application.

Custom roast context is sent to the configured generation and moderation provider. Do not enter sensitive information. Generation logs retain technical metadata, not the full customer prompt. Your chosen roast and displayed name remain in the approved order artwork.

Private order links provide access to order and delivery details. Keep them private. A verified customer access/deletion process and retention schedule are required before live operation, subject to legally required transaction records.

Customer accounts

Your customer account stores your profile, saved addresses, saved roast drafts and orders placed while signed in. Essential secure cookies keep you signed in. Passwords are hashed, never stored as plain text. Signing out ends access to account pages. You can change your password or sign out other devices in Security.

We don’t automatically attach past guest orders just because an email matches. Use the private order link for those orders. Account information and order records are used to provide the store’s services. A verified privacy request and retention process, support contact and email delivery must be ready before public sales.

If you choose Google or Apple sign-in, we use the provider’s account identifier, verified email address and shared name to create or sign in to your customer account. Apple may supply a private relay email address. Provider access and refresh tokens are not stored. You can manage connected sign-ins in Account → Security; keep another working sign-in method before disconnecting one. Social sign-in does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Content & approval

Version: October 14, 2026. These terms apply to The Roast Roast, operated by Wise Venture LLC.

Custom roasts are intended for adults and should focus on harmless habits and hobbies. Playful insults, sarcasm and sharp roast humor are welcome. Both the displayed name and message are reviewed before a final proof is prepared. Profanity, vulgar or obscene wording, threats, slurs, discrimination, serious abuse, defamatory accusations, illegal content, sensitive personal information, false or misleading claims and content targeting minors are not accepted. Automated review can reject content or pause proof preparation when unavailable.

Each approval records the exact artwork version. Changing the text or design creates a new version and requires another approval. Paid order artwork is immutable.

You choose the recipient, content and intensity. You are responsible for reviewing the name, wording, coffee and every side of the final carton before approval, for having the rights and permissions to use submitted names or content, and for making sure your gift is appropriate for its recipient and lawful. Humor can offend, especially at higher intensities. You knowingly accept that risk when you approve a roast.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to take responsibility for third-party claims and reasonable losses arising from unlawful, defamatory, privacy-infringing or rights-infringing content you supply or knowingly approve. This obligation applies only to the extent those claims result from your content or conduct. It does not cover Wise Venture LLC’s own negligence, willful misconduct, defective goods, fulfillment errors or other responsibility that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Disliking an approved joke or finding it too strong does not by itself mean the item is defective. This does not limit any mandatory consumer remedies, your right to report a problem, or your right to leave an honest review. No term guarantees immunity from a claim or waives rights that cannot legally be waived.
